—  It is generally used for transferring files and resource sharing.

WLAN

—  WLAN stands for Wireless Local Area Network.

—  WLAN are just like LAN’s but without wires.

CAN

—  SAN is a dedicated network for data storage.SAN is not affected by network traffic.

WAN

—  WAN is the largest type of Network.

—  WAN is used for connecting several organization across cities, countries or continent.

—  The common example of WAN is the INTERNET.
